What is 2FA?

In order to protect Evendal members accounts from being stolen or hacked, we are offering the option of Google Two-factor Authenticator (2FA) system, to maximize the security of Evendal user accounts with a high-level security technology system that (when activated) will give the access to Evendal user from computers or any other devices after providing an extra password retrieved from Google Authenticator app besides other normal login details.

How to activate 2FA in my Evendal account?

To activate Google 2FA system in your account, please follow the steps below:

1. Click on "Settings" on the left menu of your dashboard, and after being redirected to your settings page click on "2FA" tab.

2. Download Google Authenticator app on your smartphone from Apple Store or Google Play.

3. Open the newly installed app and click on the "+" symbol on the downright section of your smartphone screen and you will find two choices (QR Code or Setup Key) click on the QR code option.

4. In your Evendal dashboard -> settings page -> 2FA, you will find a QR code related to your Evendal account.

5. Next, scan the QR code in your 2FA settings in order to add your Evendal account to Google Authenticator app.

6. In Google Authenticator app on your smartphone, you will find 6 digits started to be shown for a limited time and change every few seconds.

7. Click on "Enable 2FA" button on your 2FA settings and a small popup window will ask you to add an "Authenticator Code", next, add the 6 digits from Google Authenticator app installed on your smartphone on the popup window in your 2FA settings page.
Note: you must add the 6 digits and click quickly on "Enable 2FA" button of the small popup "Authenticator Code" window before the 6 digits timing ends on the Google Authenticator app on your smartphone, and in case the 6 digits end before you enable "2FA" in your account, it will not work and you have to try again with next generated 6 digits.

8. When you successfully activated Google 2FA in your account, it will be required for you to put those 6 digits from your smartphone every time after logging into your Evendal account.
